Landvik house
Landvik, NORWAY
2024
A tired prefabricated house from the 80s, situated on a magnificent plot, required a major transformation. The new owners had different needs and sought more space. The entire building was thoroughly renovated from basement to attic, with a small, floating extension added to the main layout. Architectural elements were thoughtfully designed to enhance the horizontal style inspired by post-war American suburban architecture.
Strategically placed large windows allow ample light to flow in, creating an open and cohesive sense of space throughout the main areas.
