gausdal cabin
gausdal, NORWAY
2010
An extra floor has been added to an old, small log cabin in Gausdal, seamlessly expanding the space within a lush and rolling landscape. Positioned with its back to the sun, the cabin enjoys a wide, breathtaking view over the valley. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design creates a unique blend of old and new, with timeless detailing and a modest contemporary architectural language.
