This mountain cabin is crafted from custom-made massive wooden elements by the client themselves and incorporates reclaimed timber from a 250-year-old 'stabbur' (vernacular storage building) that was destined for demolition and burning. Elevated on slender, minimal columns, the cabin lightly touches the ground, significantly reducing its footprint on the surrounding natural environment, preserving the landscape in the most sustainable way possible
